LINZ AG Kundenzentrum
The tickets can be purchased at the ticket machines at the stops. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the LINZ AG Customer Center (Hauptplatz 34, 4020 Linz), in selected Tobacco tobacconists and at the Tourist Information Linz on the main square.
Tip: The Linz-Card not only includes numerous discounts and free admissions, it is also valid as a ticket for the Linz AG Linien!
Four tram lines run through Linz. They form a north-south connection, which is divided into different branches at both ends.
Line 1: Auwiesen - Universität
Line 2: Solarcity - Universität
Line 3: Landgutstraße - Trauner Kreuzung
Line 4: Landgutstraße - Schloss Traun
Bus, omnibus and express bus lines
During the nights from Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday and before public holidays special night lines can be used. Every 30 minutes they bring night owls comfortably to their destination.

In only 20 minutes, starting from Hauptplatz, Pöstlingberg tram climbs Linz's local mountain.
The historical carriages are accessible for the disabled and have been gently modernised. Whether you take the new mountain train or a nostalgia carriage (only in summer) – a trip on the Pöstlingbergbahn is an experience for the whole family.
