Cycle through the Krems valley Cycle through the Krems valley

Cycling along a river is always an adventure. This 59-km cycle path is no different, starting in Klaus to follow the River Krems downhill from its source to the river mouth where it joins the River Traun.

The trail leads past historic monasteries like Schlierbach and Kremsmünster. The last town before the Krems meets the Traun is Ansfelden. Ansfelden is the perfect place for a detour, with an adventure park and outdoor adventure pool, which makes for a great place to cool off after cycling on a hot summer’s day. Anyone wishing to extend their journey can continue on along the Traun Bike Trail, directly adjacent to the Kremstal Cycle Trail.
