Free admission to Upper Austria’s largest open-air festival Linzer Krone-Fest

16 to 18 August 2024

Welcome to Linzer Krone-Fest – three days of music, partying and pure enjoyment with free entry! The open-air festival has moved across the river from its previous city-centre location to the market grounds in Linz-Urfahr. On a musical level, it offers something for everyone. Visitors can revel in performances from Austrian and international stars from the pop, rock, schlager, cabaret and classical music genres. A particular highlight is the “Local Heroes” stage, which provides a platform for artists from the area.

And apart from its musical entertainment, the festival’s food and beverage options leave nothing to be desired. Along “Wine Street”, growers from Austria invite you to taste their vintages. Then at the Genussland-Platzl food area, specialities from Upper Austria are on the menu, including Knödel dumplings from the Innviertel area, Steckerlfisch fish skewers from the Salzkammergut region and a number of local specialities.

Plus, for children, there is a jam-packed programme available at Linzer Krone-Fest’s Kuddelmuddel KidsArea. The acrobat and clown acts are sure keep the little ones in attendance on the edge of their seats – and with the chance to join in with activities and dance performances, boredom is certainly not part of the agenda.
