Incredible hover experiences together on Segways
Segways are battery-powered, almost soundless electric two-wheeled vehicles, steered in a fascinatingly intuitive manner. The latest technology tracks the rider’s and vehicle’s balance 100 times per second. Accelerate, brake and steer as though through a transmission of thought. Young and old alike learn how to ride within just a few minutes.
Since 2008, LINZerSCHWEBEN has offered a different kind of guided city tour on these ingenious two-wheeled vehicles. Travel to Linzer Schloss, up Pöstlingberg, to the Johannes Kepler University Linz or the vineyards in Leonding as though in effortless flight.
For customer and staff events, the focus is on the joint hover experiences. In the group, learn a new form of movement (guaranteed to give you a feeling of success) and then glide, relaxed, through the city, along the Danube and up to Linzer Schloss or Pöstlingberg. You have the time and leisure to savour the ride and your surroundings, to chat with each other and to share a fascinating experience. An unforgettable kind of team building. Although the fleet at the Altes Rathaus on Hauptplatz only consists of 10+1 Segways, we can provide up to 50 Segways from partner companies for large tours. Your tour begins in the courtyard of the architectural jewel that is the Tabakfabrik or from your company location, if you wish. For larger groups (up to 500 participants), we organise skill-based courses and smooth riding competitions, where it’s not only the participation, but also the spectatorship that you’ll enjoy.
If it rains, we can often provide you with an indoor alternative at associated locations (Design Center/Tabakfabrik). We’ll also be happy to organise a culinary supporting programme for you. Whether it’s at the end of a ride in our office at the Altes Rathaus or on Pöstlingberg (including return transport of the Segways) or at a surprise pit stop en route.
